NUMERICAL MODEL DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION

For many organizations a model used in an analysis is simply a black box into which data is entered and an answer is returned. A true understanding of the influence of the input data and simulation parameters is not easily obtained without a fundamental understanding of the physics/chemistry being represented, the equations chosen for that representation and the numerical solution methodology used to solve those equations.
